Do you Travel?
I absolutely do! I currently live in Ontario but can't wait to explore every inch of Canada! I'm also very familiar with th east coast. Places we've photographed weddings and elopements include: California, PEI, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Labrador, and Ontario!
How long have you been doing this?
Well, since I decided to drop out of University - LOL. But seriously, since 2014 - professionally. I was always the kid with a camera in my hand throughout high school though!
How many photos do we get?
On average 50 images/hour.
How do we get our photos?
I love this question. I give all of my galleries via online gallery and digital download. The gallery gets emailed (or sent) to you, and you can download images straight from there to your computer or phone! It is SO easy! Galleries stay active for 6 months, so you have plenty of time to download, save, and print.
Do you retouch photos?
I lightly edit photos to match my editing style portrayed on my website, and socials. I do not do bodily retouching, adding or removing. I under no circumstances will alter my editing style to your preference. My style is a part of my soul and I hope that is part of the reason you decide to book me!
Whats your turn around time?
I try to be pretty efficient with my turn around time as I know how anxious it can be waiting for your photos. Family sessions are never more than 2 weeks. Weddings are, generally, no more than 8 weeks - depending on my schedule. I always try to get wedding sneak peaks out within 48 hours though!
How do we book you?
Send me a message! Email is preferred. Once you send me a message I check my availability and we go from there!
Can you help us with planning?
You freaking BET I can! I actually went to school for Event Management and I teach Event Management at St. Clair College in Winsdor, Ontario! This is absolutely a service I offer! Hit me up as your awesome Type A friend who makes bomb colour coded schedules.
How far out do you book?
This totally depends on session type. For general sessions (family, maternity, etc.) I can generally make a month in advance work. But please reach out sooner rather than later! For weddings it really depends on the season. "Busy Season" for 'togs is May to October. Popular wedding weekends are long weekends, and Thanksgiving. September is also a VERY popular month. Definitely reach out and we can chat!
What should we do for an engagement session?
Take me somewhere FUN! No, but for real. Did you meet at McDonalds? Let's go! Or incorporate it somehow! Do you want to go jump in the ocean/lake/river/pond where you have a million memories together? Lets do that too. If you aren't picky on location I can definitely give some great recommendations! You can also stay home and drink a bottle or two of wine, and invite me over to take pictures of y'all snuggled up on the couch. I'm cool with anything!
What should we wear?
I will FOREVER and always tell you to wear neutrals. Trying sticking with creams, khaki, and denim. Stay away from patterns! This will ensure that your photos will "match" anything you need them to. Home decor, within a printed book, guest book, save the dates, etc. They will also always be timeless and classic! PS. I also always love a good flowy dress or skirt *swoon*.
